Hi, I'm Megan, a passionate and friendly tutor with over 7 years of experience helping students excel in subjects ranging from maths and economics to academic writing competitions.

I have experience working with students across a wide range of subjects and syllabi including Economics GCSE and A-Level, Maths GCSE, and 11+ admissions, as well as providing specialised support for university admissions, including preparation for personal statements, mock interviews, and the TSA. Students I have worked with have received offers from leading universities including Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, Warwick, and Bristol for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. In addition, I have worked with international students seeking to develop their academic writing abilities through competitions such as the John Locke Essay Competition and the Harvard International Review Academic Writing Competition, in which several students have received awards.

My approach is customised to the unique learning style and goals of each student, aiming to foster a deep understanding of the material and confidence in their abilities. I love seeing my students grow in confidence and helping them draw connections between different subjects, especially in the world of social sciences. For me, tutoring is about more than just improving grades—it's about sparking a passion for learning and showing students what they’re truly capable of achieving.

I graduated with a Distinction in MSc Public Policy from the University of Bristol in which I specialised in economics, corruption, and migration studies. Prior to this, I studied PPE at the University of Oxford, in which I graduated with a First Class Honour degree and received four academic scholarships. At A-Level, I studied Maths, History and Economics and undertook an EPQ exploring foreign aid in Malawi, receiving an A* grade across all subjects.
