My name is Ziyad, and I am studying medicine at Oxford. I naturally enjoy medicine and the sciences, which I try to convey in my teaching and mentoring. I have over two years of experience tutoring GCSE maths, chemistry and biology and A-level chemistry and biology. As a student myself, I believe that students learn best when lessons are interactive and stimulating. I therefore make sure to always ask my students questions whilst explaining topics and stimulating discussions about challenging concepts. I give my students homework to reinforce concepts and skills learnt in lessons.

Having gone through the medicine and Oxford application process, I have a thorough understanding of what it takes to build a successful application. I achieved 3 A*s at A Level and top 10% scores in both UCAT and BMAT, so I will be able to provide insights into how one can be successful in these exams. I am also very familiar with the interview process at Oxbridge as well as MMI at other medical schools, which has allowed me to provide valuable advice for interviews and mock interviews for my mentees. I have over a year of experience in mentoring and have mentored a student who received an offer to study medicine at Cambridge. I am fully committed to putting my students and mentees in the best position to succeed.
