I am a master student in Oxford in education, and studied philosophy in my BA in Tsinghua University. If you have any problems in Philosophy or Chinese or any other thing that I may know, I'm more than willing to offer help!

I have interned in a high school in Shanghai as a teacher in Chinese. I taught a class of about 40 students for a semester. Before that, I’ve worked in an English teaching institution in China, tutoring students TOEFL writing and SAT verbal. Before that, I have also tutored primary school students basic philosophy, mainly ancient Greek philosophy.

For me, tutoring is more about finding out problems and help students solve their problems in their preferred ways. Everyone has their own way of learning, and it is important to find out one’s way of learning as well as obtaining knowledge. I believe my tutoring will help everyone customize their learning process to improve learning efficiency.

I just got my bachelor’s degree in philosophy in Tsinghua University. I am now a master student in University of Oxford, learning education.

I have a keen passion on philosophy and Chinese language. For philosophy, I did my dissertation on epistemology and logic, but I got a general view of all kinds of philosophy through four years of learning. The best thing about philosophy from my perspective is that you can always find something close to your personal experience that you were unable to put that into words before when reading philosophy books. This is some “spark moment” for me. And for Chinese, this is a language with thousands of years of history. You can always find something interesting when observing how Chinese characters transform through times and how they compose phrases.

Last but not least, I always enjoy communicating with others, and I believe tutoring would be inspiring both for you and for me! So do not hesitate making conversations with me, no matter in what field and aspect.
