Hello from Cambridge, UK! My name is Kingston, I'm a current Astrophysics postgraduate student at the University of Cambridge, and I have over 10 years of teaching experience. I first started teaching in 2012, when I completed my Cambridge English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) qualification, and taught English to all ages and class sizes while living in Asia.
Throughout my undergraduate in Physics & Philosophy I supervised in maths and physics and tutored private students, which I have continued to do since. In between studying I have worked as a Data Scientist and a Writer, and travelled extensively around the world (25 countries and counting!).
I would say the main thing thing that sets me apart is that I understand how differently everyone learns, and that the most important thing is to reframe "struggling" as being a good thing-- it means you're actually learning.Plus, as an older student myself I have learned how important it is not to compare yourself to others, and this is something I try to share with my students.
If I sound like someone you'd like to have as a teacher, then please do get in touch with any questions. I look forward to meeting you!
